Two Davie fire departments will host fundraising barbecues this weekend.

The Advance Fire Department will hold its annual spring pork and beef barbecue on Friday, April 6, from 6 a.m. until sold out, at the original fire station on 169 Fire Station Road.

The Sheffield-Calahaln Volunteer Fire Department, 435 Dyson Road, Mocksville, will hold its annual barbecued chicken and pork fundraiser on Saturday.

Take outs only will be available from 11 a.m. until sold out.
