Randy Lee Barrier, 61, of Mocksville, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at his home.

A 1974 graduate of North Stanly High School, he earned a degree in electrical engineering from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 1976. After spending 29 years as a lab service technician for Fisher Scientific, he started his own successful business, Triad Analytic, in 2006.
