Victor Gutierrez-Rodriguez, 47 of Mocksville died on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017.

He was born Dec. 21, 1969 in Mexico. He was the son of Pedro Gutierrez Baltazar and the late Juana Rodriguez. He was the husband of Ma De Jesus Garcia Saldana of Mexico. He was a laborer in construction and a member of St. Frances of Assisi Catholic Church.

Survivors: his son, Victor Gutierrez Garcia of Harmony; 2 daughters, Karina Garcia and Alhondra Gutierrez Garcia, both of Harmony; 6 brothers, Oswaldo, Josue, Efrain, Miguel Angel, Cristian and Oscar; 4 sisters, Gabrela, Sandra, Adriana and Esmeralda; and 3 grandchildren, Damien Driver, Bradley Santiago and Chelsea Santiago.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Willie.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 at Davie Funeral Chapel beginning with a prayer service at 6. A mass will be held Thursday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church officiated by Father Eric Kowalski.
