Judy Megee of Mocksville died on Monday, July 24, 2017.

She was born Judith Dorothy de Fague, May 8, 1948, on the island of Trinidad in the West Indies to the late John and Dorothy de Fague.  She was a proud and passionate member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E. Megee Jr. of Georgetown, Del.; an uncle, Thomas J. de Fague; and a brother, John O. de Fague.

Survivors: her children, Peter Boissiere (Teresa) of Columbus, Ohio, Bernadette Magan (Bill) of Mocksville, Rhonda Ruiz (Steven) of Newark, Del. and John Anderson (Karyn) of Dover, Del.; siblings, Angela Smith (Bob) of Sugar Land, Texas, Janette Blizzard of Wilmington, Del., Patricia “Patsy” Grimm of Delaware City, Del., Stephen A. de Fague (Analise) of Sydney, Australia and Michael T. de Fague of Delaware City; grandchildren, Billy, Joshua and Bethany Magan, Abby Beaver, Leah Long, and Megan and Nick Boissiere; 7 great-grandchildren by whom she was called “Mom Mom”; and several nieces and nephews worldwide.

A funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m., Thursday, July 27 at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Darrell Cox officiating.  The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
