Snowzilla to be at free WinterFest Saturday

There will be chills and thrills for the family at Winterfest on Saturday, Dec. 3 from noon-5 p.m. at Junker’s Mill Outdoor Stage at 107 S. Salisbury St., Mocksville.

“Frolic and play the eskimo way” as you fly down SnowZilla, an inflatable tubing slide. At 31-feet tall and 90-feet long, and with two sliding lanes, it’s a ride for kids and adults – a simulation of a slide down a snow covered hill.

There will be a 40- by 50-foot inflatable snow maze featuring colored snowmen, twists, turns and roadblock.

A bounce house will be available for smaller children. There will be hayrides, and balloon art and Christmas stories by Michael Decker.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

This is the season for giving, so bring nonperishable food items for A Storehouse for Jesus. Collection boxes will be available around Junker’s Mill.

This free event is presented by the Mocksville Tourism Development Authority.
