Festival Saturday

The Oaks Festival, postponed from last Saturday, will be held this Saturday in Downtown Mocksville with many of the same crafters and vendors.

It starts at 10 a.m., with music at Junker’s Mill ending the festival sometime after 6 p.m.

A kids area will feature a bounce house, inflatables, balloon art and a maze.

Music, starting at noon, features, in order of appearance: Table Rock Ramblers bluegrass band; Tess & The Black & Blue Band rock, country and funk band; Taylor Vaden and Memphis Thunder, an Elvis tribute band. Tony Bailey with his new and traditional country sound is scheduled to take the state at 4:45 p.m. There is no fee for admission.
