Mrs. Joanna Marie Gentry Tutterow, 95, of Greensboro, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016.

She was born March 19, 1921, in Wilkes County to the late Claude B. and Hattie Hawkins Gentry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Willard Tutterow; an infant daughter, Patricia Jean Tutterow; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.

Survivors: a daughter, Claudia Tutterow of Greensboro; a son, Gary Tutterow; 2 grandchildren, Lisa Sizemore (Darryl) and Carla Price (Darren); and 2 great-grandchildren, Madison Price and Rebecca Sizemore, all of Georgia.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 3 at Ijames Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
