Anne Berry Little

Mrs. Anne Berry Little, 76, of Bermuda Run died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
She was born Aug. 17, 1939 in Roxboro, the daughter of Milton Banks and Margaret Jackson Berry. Mrs. Little graduated from Roxboro High School in 1957, attended William Peace University in Raleigh and Greensboro College in Greensboro majoring in music. She decided to fly instead. As a flight attendant, she earned her wings with Capitol Airlines in Washington, DC and later earned with American Airlines in Fort Worth, Texas. She was based in Nashville, Tenn. She married Charles Vernon Wilkerson and they had a daughter, Elizabeth Anne. Charles was killed in an automobile accident in 1966. She married Howard QL Little Jr. in 1967 and became the mother of twins, Howard QL Little III and Deborah Lynn Little. She was blessed with 2 granddaughters, Iris Annemarie and Sophia QL Little. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and their cats through all 50 United States, Mexico and Canada. Mrs. Little’s most enjoyable trip was camping along the Alaskan Highway.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug, 15, at Hillsdale United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2 prior to the service. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
