Mr. Jimmy Wayne Cline, 78, of Advance, died Feb. 4, 2016.

He was born Dec. 31, 1937 in Forsyth County to Lavada Dyson Cline and Thomas Theodore Cline. Mr. Cline was a member of Turners Creek Baptist Church and retired from Jockey International.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Potts Cline.

Surviving: 2 daughters, Sandra Doby and Glenda Lane, and a son, Richard Cline, all of Advance; 3 grandchildren, Josh Cline, Dawn Jackson and Angelo Micozzi; and 3 great-grandchildren, Cody Galliher, Colt Galliher and Wyatt Cline.

A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7  at Turners Creek Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends one hour before the service at the church.
