Ethel “Denise” Byerly Robertson, 62, husband of Larry Dale Robertson of Advance, died at her home Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015.

A native of Forsyth County, she was born Oct. 17, 1953, the daughter of Chester Olin Byerly Jr. and Betty “Jean” Heath Byerly of Advance. She was a graduate of West Forsyth High School and retired as a nursing assistant with Meadowbrook Assisted Living Center in Clemmons.

In addition to her husband of 38 years and her parents, she is survived by: 2 daughters, Janet Robertson Wagner (Michael) of Salisbury and Christie Godgrey (Jason) of Winston-Salem; 3 grandchildren, Kayla Mae Godfrey, Haley Bourae Moore and Danni K. Moore; and  sisters, Cindy Schuyler of Pilot Mountain and Felicia Stinson (Gary) of Advance.

A gathering of family and friends was to be held at Davie Funeral Service Chapel at 1p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, with a service to follow at 2, officiated by the Rev. Pete Peterson.
