Miss Barbara Jane Boger, 77, of Greenhill Road, Mocksville, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at Davie Place Residential Care in Mocksville.

She was born Aug. 26, 1938 in Davie County to the late John William and Mary Belle Summers Boger. Miss Boger was a member of Center United Methodist Church.   

She was also preceded in death by: 3 siblings, Johnsie Boger Spears (Wade), Clay Boger (Louise) and Ned Boger (Ruby); and 3 nieces and nephews, Harvey and Jack Spears and Rita Boger Emilson.

Survivors: nieces and nephews, Janice Spears Higby (Larry), Gayla Spears, Ken Boger (Sharon), Randy Boger (Jayne), Teresa Boger Raisbeck (Rob), Brenda Boger Mecham, Johnny Boger (Renee) and Lisa Boger Stumbo; a sister-in-law, Shirley Boger; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service was to be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23 at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. John Erwin officiating.
