Mr. Ralph Arvey Montgomery, 75, of Advance died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 at his home.

He was born Jan. 29, 1940 in Alamance County to Herman Robert and Alice Wrenn Montgomery. Mr. Montgomery was employed with Southern Tool Manufacturing Co. for 40 years.

Survivors: his wife Josie; a daughter, Debbie; a son, Richard; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was to be held at 2 p.m.. Thursday, Dec. 17 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Russell Myers officiating.  The family was to receive friends following the service.
