Mr. Ronald Eugene Eudy, 66, of Mocksville, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.

He was born Jan. 29, 1949, in Rowan County. Mr. Eudy was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Cooleemee and was an electrician. He enjoyed helping friends in need and loved spending time with his dad and family.

In addition to his mother, Edith Mae Foster Eudy, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Marsha E. DeSorbo and Cindy E. Allen.

Survivors: his father and stepmother, Jack Creswell and Sue Smith Eudy of Cooleemee; a brother, Dan R. Eudy (Joanne) of Connecticutt; stepbrother, Earl Cuthrell (Cindy); stepsister, JoAnn Davis (Donnie), all of Mocksville; brother-in-law, Steve Allen of Salisbury; nieces, Caroline, Catherine and Meredith Eudy, Meredith Allen and Chelsea DeSorbo; and his loyal K-9 companion, Bud.

A funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec.1 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Fred Carlton officiating. Burial followed in Legion Memorial Park. The family received friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
