Marsha Kay Holden “Bebop” Woodard, 57, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015 at Brightmoor Nursing Center in Salisbury after a period of declining health.

She was a native of Detroit, Mich., the daughter of the late John B. Holden and the late Kathryn Mose Holden, and had resided in North Carolina for the past seven years. She was the widow of the late Ronnie Woodard who died in April. They had been married for 37 years. She was a homemaker.

Survivors: a daughter, Jenny Adkins and husband Brian of Mocksville; 2 sons, Josh Dale Woodard of Tennessee and Jason Edward Woodard of Missouri; and 6 grandchildren, Josh Allen Woodard, Riley Woodard, Brian and Alex Adkins, Ashley and Jasmine Woodard.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Jacob Woodard; and a daughter, Jessica Woodard.
