Gloria Jean Reynolds died on Oct. 13, 2015.

She was born on Sept. 4, 1952 in Yadkin County, daughter of the late Clyde and Ethel P. Partlow. She attended Yadkin County Schools and worked at Food Lion in the deli. She also worked at Textile Industries, and was a caregiver to the elderly.

She was married for more than 40 years to the late Billy Ray Reynolds, who preceded her in death in 2010. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Bill Partlow and Clyde Junior Partlow.

Survivors: a son, Steven (Melissa) Reynolds of Boonville; 2 daughters, Toni (Emanuel) Wilkins of Mocksville, and Joy (Romeo) Gaither of Yadkin County; a brother, Terry Partlow of Salisbury; a sister, Shirley Davidson of Salisbury; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held Friday, Oct. 16 at 4 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home in Mocksville. Apostle Delores Taylor provided the eulogy. The family received friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
