A benefit for Janet Rhodes Holland will be held Saturday, Aug. 29 from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Masonic Picnic Grounds, off North Main Street in Mocksville.

She remains in a coma after an accident on July 26, and money raised will go to help her children and immediate family members to continue visiting from Tennessee.

The day starts with a craft and yard sale at 7 a.m.

Race car driver Brad Mickalowski will be on hand with his Extrene car. Food will be available beginning at 11 a.m. from Hot Diggity Dogs and Epic Ice.

There will be raffles, bingo games, a bounce house for the kids, and live music by W. Kiley Smith, her daughter Chelsaea Rhodes, and the main event in the evening, Joe Caudle and the Third Shift Band.

Bring a lawn chair for seating.
