Anna Mae Seamon ‘Ann’ Snider

Mrs. Anna Mae Seamon “Ann” Snider, 84, of Boone’s Cave Road, Lexington, died Sunday, Aug. 23 at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

A funeral service was to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26 at Churchland Baptist Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Jerry Wilkes. Burial was to follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Snider was born Dec. 19, 1930 in Davie County to William Aubrey Seamon and Etta Mae Williams Seamon.She was a graduate of Cool Springs High School and had worked at Manhattan Shirt Factory and Orrell’s Cold Storage. She retired from Norman’s of Salisbury.

Her brothers, William Aubrey Seamon Jr., Ernest Seamon and Jay C. Seamon, and her sister, Mary Cartener Howell, preceded her in death.

Survivors: her husband, Harvey Lee Snider of the home; her son, Marty Lee Snider and wife Sherry of Churchland; her daughter, Becky Smith and husband Jerry of Churchland; her brother, Jim Seamon of Mocksville; her sister, Betty Lortharpe of Statesville; her grandchildren, Ryan Snider and wife Stacey, Jansen Smith, and Meghan Smith Koonts and husband Justin; and her great-grandchild, Ryker Lee Snider.
