The Davie County Public Library Youth Services Department had plenty of help making the summer reading program a success.

Called “Community Heroes,” they shared what they do to make their community better.

At the end of the program, each “hero” received a thank-you gift bag that included items that could help them teach young people in the future.

“The youth services staff truly appreciates the collaboration from Davie County agencies to offer these programs,” said Julie Whittaker.
