Mr. James Michael Feehan, 44, of Mocksville, died Friday morning, July 17, 2015 at the HOCK Family Pavilion at Duke Home Care & Hospice in Durham.

Mr. Feehan was born July 24, 1970 in Newton, Iowa to the late Richard Lee and Gennie Marie Cupp Feehan. He was a graduate of Iowa State University and a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. He loved traveling and loved his dogs.

Survivors: his wife, Erin Amira Feehan of the home; a son, Calder James Feehan of the home; a sister, Mary Feehan of Newton; his uncle and aunt, Charles and Sheryl Cupp of Des Moines, Iowa; his aunt, Lorrie Symmonds of Newton, and a number of other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service was held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Wednesday, July 22 at 1 p.m. by the Rev. John Shields. The family received visitors at noon with an hour reception following the service.
