The North Carolina Museum of Art is honoring three Davie High School students in a big way.

Brianna Moore (senior), Jordan Smith (sophomore), and Elizabeth Beauchamp (freshman), visual arts students, have been included in an installation at the museum, in Raleigh.

High school students from across the state entered a competition highlighting the artistic process along with the final work of art.

Elizabeth Beauchamp received an additional honor by placing third among the accepted pieces.

A celebration was held Saturday, April 25 at the museum to celebrate the “Teens-Inspired” art show. The public is invited to view the exhibit when July 17-Sept. 27 in the East Building of the NC Museum of Art.
