Mrs. Mary Gibson Holleman, 71, of Riverdale Road, Mocksville, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born June 2, 1943, in Iredell County to the late Monroe and Martha Virginia Barnette Gibson. Mrs. Holleman was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Mocksville.

She was also preceded in death by 2 children, Patricia Lynn Guice and Joe Clifton Herron; and a grandson, Christopher Hicks.

Survivors: her husband, Johnny Holleman of the home; 6 grandchildren; and a brother, James William Gibson (Judy) of Denver.

A graveside service was conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 8 at Salem United Methodist Church, Denver, NC with Dr. Darrell Cox officiating. The family received friends Thursday, May 7, at Eaton Funeral Home.
