The Davie County Master Gardeners will hold their annual plant sale Friday May 1, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in Downtown Mocksville in the parking lot of 232 S. Main St.

“If you are interested in garden plants, then this is the sale for you,” said volunteer, Phala Roberts.

Master Gardener volunteers have been propagating and potting plants since last fall to ensure a huge selection.

“As you plan your spring and summer garden you will enjoy visiting the plant sale for plants and taking advantage of all the knowledgeable MG Volunteers,” she said.

If you have plants that need separating or just have plants you would like to donate, give Pam Jones, horticulture agent a call, 753-6100 and Master Gardeners will be happy to pick up.

A new addition to the plant sale this year is the “Ask a Master Gardener” booth. Bring your puzzling gardening questions to get answers and techniques for a healthy garden.

All proceeds are used to fund projects within the county, as well as a scholarship given to a Davie County senior each year.
