Mr. Donald Robert “Duck” Hofmann, Jr., 53, died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville.

He was born August 23, 1961, in Washington, DC to Sandra Lee Daugherty Hofmann and the late Donald Robert Hofmann.

Survivors include his mother, Sandra Daugherty Garrison of Harmony; several close friends, “Duck” White of AL, Robert Blackwelder, June Bug Curry, Matthew Frye, Michael Stevens, Roxanne Wilson, Pete Eller, Timmy Wilcox and Curtis St. Claire; as well as too many other names to mention.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Iredell Memorial Gardens in Statesville. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, at Eaton Funeral Home in Mocksville.
