Born in Boston, Mass. on June 26, 1962, she was the daughter of Gerald Eugene and Helen Bradley Hart of Attleboro, Mass., and the wife of Lawrence David “Larry” Masters of the home. She graduated from Saint Mary of the Assumption High School in 1980. She was a graduate CNA, but her true enjoyment was trucking across America. She obtained her commercial driver’s license and she and her husband of 16 years, Larry, met while trucking. They were married in 1999, and the two of them along with the late “Teddy Bear,” her Pomeranian companion of some 17 years, traveled from coast to coast until her health made it impossible for her to continue such trips. After the loss of “Teddy Bear,” she adopted “Winston,” a Boxer, and more recently, “Miss Kitty,” a cat that took up residence at their home, and both became dear companions. She enjoyed attending The Cove Church of Statesville.
