A memorial service was to be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20 at the First Presbyterian Church, Salisbury, for Mrs. Phyllis Sones Potter, formerly of Mocksville. Mrs. Potter died on Dec. 7 at the home of her daughter Emily and son-in-law Dr. Thomas Wannenburg, Atlantic Beach, Fla., after a long battle with cancer. Present were her husband of 60 years, Robert V. Potter, daughters Robin Morgan, Bethesda, Md., Amy Imbody, Ashburn, Va. and Emily Wannenburg.
