Tara Denise Jones and Joseph Clifford Spil were married June 2 in Asheville at Congregation Beth Ha Tephila. The ceremony was officiated by Rabbi Batsheva Meiri.
The bride is the daughter of Mel and Denise Jones of Advance and the groom is the son of Morris and Linda Spil of Matthews.
 Presented in marriage by her father and mother, the bride was attended by her sister, Regan Jones Brown, matron of honor.She wore Essence of Australia coupled with a couture jacket fashioned by Sharon Wallace of Charlotte. Bridesmaids were Stacie Boger, Christine Baughman Harbour, Rachel Poston, Melissa Spil, and Mary Elizabeth Washington. The junior bridesmaid was Hanna Smith, the bride’s cousin.
The groom’s brother, Isaac Spil, was the best man. Groomsmen were Craig Goldstein, Brandon Schnitzer, Joshua Goodman, Seth Glazer and Walter Brown. Ushers were Gerhardt Schnibben and Matthew Putterman. Wolfgang Schnibben of Charleston, S.C. was the ring bearer.
An acoustic ensemble with two vocalists provided the ceremony music.
