Two suspects charged with home invasions in Davie County remain at large and authorities are advising they are considered armed and dangerous.
Erin Lee Mabe, 30, of Baltimore Road, Advance and Derek Wayne Englert, 32, with no known address, are wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, burglary, and conspiring to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Dillon Wayne Englert, 18, of NC 801 South, Advance; Collin Andrew Taylor, 18, of Falling Creek Drive, Advance; and Thomas Richard Hunter Jr., 31, of Gun Club Road, Advance were arrested and jailed earlier this week in connection with same break-ins and home invasions.
Dillon Englert  and Hunter were each charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree burglary, conspiring to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, and kidnapping. Englert was released from custody after posting a $25,000 bond. Hunter remains in jail in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
Taylor was charged with two counts robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts kidnapping, two counts first degree burglary, two counts conspiring to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts breaking/entering, two counts felony larceny, and two counts conspiring to commit a break-in. He remains jailed in lieu of a $67,000 bond.
According to Davie County Sheriff’s Office Chief J.D. Hartman, deputies have been investigating break-ins and home invasions in the county since January 26.
“Over that period of time we developed enough information and leads and charged these people,” Harman said.
Four cases have been cleared following the arrests.
A break-in on Markland Road on March 13; a break-in on NC 801 South on March 12; a home invasion on Howell Road on Feb. 29; and a home invasion on NC 801 South on Jan. 25.
Hartman said the suspects were armed and threatened people with weapons.
“They stole televisions, weapons, and money,” Hartman said.
Detectives have been unsuccessful in retrieving any of the property taken from the Davie homes, but a recent search warrant did recover items that linked the five to crimes in Forsyth County.
“We are still actively investigating and believe these subjects are responsible for other crimes in Davie and other surrounding counties,” Hartman said.
Dillon Englert, Taylor, and Hunter are all scheduled to appear in Davie District Court today.
Sheriff’s officials are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Derek Englert and Mabe to call 751-5547.
