Koontz-Stewart Couple Married

Jamie Leigh Koontz and Joel Anthony Stewart of Mocksville were united in marriage at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at South Fork Church of Christ in Winston-Salem.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Koontz of Mocksville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Shores and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Koontz, all of Mocksville.
The groom is the son of Judy Stewart of Newton and Tim Stewart of Mocksville. She is the granddaughter of Mary Eaton and Peggy Stewart, both of Bristol, Tenn.
The bride was escorted by her father. Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Jessica Nichols. Maid of honor was Katie Johnson. Bridesmaids were Cassie Shoemaker, Amanda Walser, Tiffany Riddle, Maria Nail and Amanda Stewart, the groom’s sister.
The best man was Ryan Patrick. The groomsmen were Matt Justis, Karl Swartz, Jordan Cline, Tatum Williams, Blake Nichols, the bride’s brother-in-law, and Logan Koontz, brother of the bride.
The flower girls wee Morgan Shores and Emma Williams. The ring bearers were Tyler Nichols, the bride’s nephew, and Brady Williams.
Registry attendants were Dustin Hilton and Kassidy Williams.
The double-ring ceremony was performed by Vince Davis. A program of wedding music was provided by Caleb and Sara Davis, soloists, and Waylon Stroud.
