Municipal filings for the 2011 November non-partisan elections for the towns of Cooleemee and Mocksville will begin at noon, Friday, July 1.  
Seats to be filled in Cooleemee are those held by: Lynn Rumley, mayor; Tommy Daywalt and Jean Snead, commissioners.
Seats to be filled in Mocksville are those held by: F.W. Slate, mayor;  J.C. “Buster” Cleary and Will Marklin III, commissioners.
Filing fee for each office is $5 and filings will close at noon, Friday, July 15. All filings shall be made in the Davie County Board of Elections Office, 161 Poplar St.
The filing period for Bermuda Run will begin at noon, Monday, July 25 and end at noon, Friday, Aug. 12.
