Rose-Dillashaw Couple Wed

Amanda “Mandy” Margaret Rose and Brendan Gunter Dillashaw were married April 16 at 5:30 p.m. on the event lawn of Carolina Golf Club in Charlotte with the Rev. Brian Suntken, the groom’s youth minister, officiating.
A celebration and reception hosted by the bride, groom and their families followed.
The bride is the daughter of David Lee Rose of Trenton and Rhonda Cladeen Metzof Wilmington. She is the granddaughter of Richard Jordan Rose and the late Mrs. Mary Margaret Rose of Gaithersburg, Md., and the late Mr. Gurney Clay Gaither and the late Mrs. Lillie Mae Gaither of Winston–Salem. She is a graduate of New Bern High School and Appalachian State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education with a concentration in psychology. She is a second grade teacher at Beverly Woods Elementary and is a member of the Teaching Fellows Institute at Charlotte.
The groom is the son of Mrs. James Mack Dillashaw and the late Mr. Dillashaw of Charlotte. He is the grandson of the late Dr. A. Rhett Gunter and Mrs. Emily Jennings Gunter of Charlotte and the late Mr. and Mrs. Everette Earle Dillashaw of Forest City. He is a graduate of West Charlotte High School.
