Steele-Johnson Couple Married

April Deanna Steele and David Lee Johnson were united in marriage Oct. 2 at South River United Methodist Church in Woodleaf. The Rev. David Childress officiated the 4:30 p.m. ceremony, followed by a reception in the fellowship hall.
The bride was escorted by her father, Joel Steele, and attended by her sister, Angela Campbell of Statesville, as matron of honor. Her bridesmaids included Carey Barney of Hamptonville, Elizabeth Clarke of Cleveland, Tonya Gregory of Woodleaf, Amanda Huss of ?Stanley, Adrienne Leach of Winston-Salem and Christy Steele of Winston-Salem.
David A. Johnson stood as his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Noel Barney of Hamptonville, George Campbell and Joe Perrow, both of Statesville, Lee Gobble, Justin Lanning and Tim Abee, all of Mocksville.
