Kristin Elizabeth Towell and Drew Edward Newman, both of Charlotte, were united in marriage on Nov. 5 at the Unitarian Church of Charleston in Charleston, S.C.
A reception of dinner and dancing followed at Hibernian Hall in Downtown Charleston.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Jennifer Towell, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Haley Hill, sister of the bride, Stacye Joyner, Melissa Stewart, Carly Iddings, Kim Ridley and Megan Rape, all friends of the bride. Kate Gary, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
Rebecca Newman, sister-in-law of the groom, and Ryann Prince, friend of the bride, were greeters.
The best man was Seth Newman, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were James Blakely, Garth Regan, Tim Kokoski, Brad Kokoski, Matt Young and Brian King, all friends of the groom. Walker Hindle, cousin of the groom was ring bearer.
