Kristen Brooke Karns and Joseph James Reilly were married on Friday, Nov. 11 at the Lake Quarry of Carrigan Farms in Mooresville. The outdoor ceremony was held at 5:30 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Nic Cooley.
Following the service, the bride and groom hosted a reception, joined by friends and family.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the bride's parents, was held Thursday evening.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Karns of Advance. She is the granddaughter of Lawerence Winsor and Donna Mosier of North Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Mosley of Pennsylvania and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Karns of Pennsylvania. The bride is pursing a higher education in medicine. She works in marketing and is a health care specialist, both in the Army National Guard.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Reilly of Florida and Mr. and Mrs. Ian Coombes of Canada. He is the grandson of Marlene Reilly of Florida and the late Mr. Reilly.The groom is pursing a higher education degree in networking and is employed in hospitality management. He also serves as an information technology specialist in the Army National Guard.
