There will be some new, but familiar, faces in administrative offices in area schools next month.
Dr. Darrin Hartness, superintendent, recently announced several administrative changes.
The recent retirements of Carol Cozart, principal at Cooleemee Elementary, and Larry Bridgewater, principal at Ellis Middle, left two slots open.
Karen Stephens, assistant principal at Pinebrook Elementary, will move into Cozart’s role, and Alicia Holman, assistant principal at Ellis, will become the principal there.
